Our church is growing and we need to create more space on Sunday morning, especially within children’s ministry. So, we’re launching a third service and changing all of our service times beginning October 1. What are those times and what can you expect?
A couple of things to know about the early service…
- Service will start ON TIME (not 5 minutes after)
- Children’s programming will be available for birth – 5th grade
- Announcements will occur during 5 minute countdown (video)
- Less media, such as offering videos
- Less music than later services
Additionally, there are a couple of things to know about the later services…

- Possibility of implementing capacity strategies in children’s ministry rooms
Traffic and Parking
Moving forward, our driveway will be “enter only” on Sunday mornings.

All traffic will exit through Thales, as shown in the image below. Anyone who parks on the side of our lot closest to the church will exit by looping around the parking island, then exiting through the Thales Academy parking lot. (See picture below.)

Once you enter the Thales lot, you will turn left to drive past the school, then make another left down the first driveway. Anyone heading North (turning right) on Salem Street will drive straight ahead and turn right at the stop sign. (See picture below.)

Anyone heading South on Salem Street (turning left) will drive through the roundabout, turn left on Key Ring Drive, then turn left at the Salem Street light. (See picture below.)
Medium-Term Growth Plan
While three services will help us with growth in the short-term, our Leadership Board determined we need a medium-growth strategy for when services fill up again.
After surveying several options including expansion, relocation, and purchasing land…Peak Leadership felt the best, next step was to begin researching into the process of building onto our existing facility at 1200 N Salem Street.
We’ve formed an internal team with skills in fundraising, real estate, and external development to design and facilitate a process for gathering more information. In fact, that team has already begun their work! We are considering launching a capital campaign that will allow us to fund expansion efforts. Below is our proposed timeline for the possible campaign and expansion.
