A couple weeks ago, the United Methodist Church convened in St Louis for a special called General Conference to resolve where our denomination stands on human sexuality. It was the decision of that body to reaffirm the denominations long held traditional stance on marriage and increase accountability for pastors and churches. The following Sunday, Pastor Kyle responded to the vote in worship with the statement found here. In it, you’ll hear that our church we will continue to be a community inclusive and affirming of all our LGBTQ members.
