Men's Ministry Service Morning + Lunch: men of the church, use your gifts to help us prepare our grounds for Easter and enjoy some fellowship with other Peak men on Sat 4/5. Prayer Labyrinth: experience this contemplative walking prayer practice in our sanctuary during Holy week. There are daytime offerings all week, and an evening offering on Wed 4/16. Border Pilgrimage Interest Meeting: want to learn more about our trip to the US/Mexico border this summer? Join us on Zoom on Tues 4/15. Good Friday: join us for a worship service of lament, confession, and hope on Fri 4/18. Easter: we have FIVE Easter worship services (including Saturday night) this year. Please register on Realm for the service your family will attend so we know when to expect you! We will also have Holy Week devotionals, including elements and a liturgy for Maundy Thursday Communion at home, available for you to pick up in worship on Palm Sunday (4/13). May God strengthen all of our faith as we journey with Christ to the cross.

Dillon will start next week (first time in worship will be 4/6), but we couldn't wait to introduce him to you. Check out his note below... Hello Peak Family! I’m Dillon Parker, and I am beyond excited to join The Peak staff this upcoming week as the Director of the Children’s Ministry! I grew up down the road in Clayton and spent most of my nights at church, soaking in the sense of community that faith brings. Those experiences shaped me from a young age, and they continue to influence how I see the world. I attended NC State University and have spent the past five years teaching at a small private school in Clayton while attending and interning at Church on Morgan in Raleigh. Through my work with children, I’ve come to see faith through their eyes—full of wonder and curiosity. It’s shown me how vast and inclusive faith truly is, and I am passionate about fostering a community with your students where they feel safe to ask questions and explore their beliefs in a fun and loving environment. A little about me: I have around 70 houseplants, I love to cycle, I’m a diehard Dolly Parton fan, and pretty sure my parents gave me Bojangles Sweet Tea in my bottle— I’m not mad about it. Regrettably, so much “Christian talk” calls us to escape, neglect or even hate parts of ourselves. Let us not forget that God made us GOOD (Gen 1). Perhaps one of the ways to know/love God is getting better at knowing/loving ourselves. #keepchristianityweird
