We are so proud of these kids! Today, @peakbeginni We are so proud of these kids! Today, @peakbeginnings graduated its first cohort! Lane, Kimberly and Maria have poured everything into these children over the past three years, and their efforts show. They've learned the basics, like letters, numbers and how to share. Some even learned a second language! But, most importantly, they've learned that God loves them and will always be there for them. We're honored to have been the home of this amazing program. They're making a huge difference in the lives of these children and their families.

❌ Fasting to earn God’s approval ✅ Fasting ❌ Fasting to earn God’s approval ✅ Fasting to resurrect something dead For centuries, the church has recommended FASTING as a vital, spiritual discipline. However, without instructions, we might think this exercise is for God…rather than for us. We might think it is God who wants us to abstain from certain things, rather than ourselves who need better limits and boundaries. What is one area in YOUR LIFE where you have been too active, too focused, too enmeshed that you’ve neglected other areas of your life? How might you fast (or put limitations) on that area in order to bring it back to life?
📢 New series starting this Sunday 📢 Curren 📢 New series starting this Sunday 📢 Currently, there are an estimated 2.38 billion Christians in the world. That sounds like a lot, until you realize there are over 8 billion people in the world. What does it mean that over 70% of God’s children worship differently than us, believe differently than us, and in some cases, live quite differently than we do? We, as Christians, believe that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. However, as the theologian John Wesley reminds us, “we do not need to think alike in order to love alike.” Join us as we seek to understand, love, and even be challenged by our neighbors of different faiths. Bring a friend!

@peakbeginnings needs our help! Their annual golf @peakbeginnings needs our help! Their annual golf tournament (being held on May 5) needs 16 more golfers or it will be canceled this year. This is their major fundraiser of the year, so canceling it would greatly hinder their ability to serve the under-resourced children in our community. Please consider signing up using the link in our bio and share this post to spread the word! Peak Beginnings is the tuition-free, early childhood enrichment program that operates at The Peak Church. It provides three years of preschool, transportation to and from the program, and breakfast and lunch each day to a group of amazing children.
